SYNOPSIS

When corrupt lawyer Sinclair Niedenthal III retreats to an isolated cabin, he brings along more than just his briefcase and vices. A chance encounter with Darby, a desperate addict, spirals into a twisted game of control, violence, and survival. As the night descends into drugs, paranoia, and ritualized cruelty, the line between reality and hallucination dissolves — and only one man will crawl out alive.

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT

Vicemares was built from duct tape, spite, and obsession. We shot it in a single cabin with no safety net, fueled by blood, sweat, and the kind of passion you can’t fake. I don’t care if you love it or hate it, I care that it hits you, leaves a scar, and makes you feel something real. That’s what independent horror is supposed to do. This is our midnight movie, our scream into the void.

Vicemares was designed as a contained psychological horror with one location, two actors, maximum intensity. Shot in a cabin outside Dallas, the film channels themes of addiction, guilt, and survival into a claustrophobic battle of wills. We built it lean but cinematic, with high production value on a tight budget. Vicemares is meant to unsettle and captivate, the kind of film that plays as strongly on streaming as it does on the festival midnight slot.
