DECEMBER 6, 2023 SOUTHSIDE PRESERVATION HALL 1519 LIPSCOMB ST. FORT WORTH, TX 5pm – NIGHT MARKET + MACABRE ALLEY (TWO ROOMS OF VENDORS) 7pm – VINTAGE VIDEO PRESHOW 8pm – SECRET MOVIE SCREENING (GENRE: KILLER CHRISTMAS COMEDY) CELEBRATE THE 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF WEIRD WEDNESDAY. The Movie Mutant is taking over Southside Preservation Hall in Fort Worth and filling it to the brim with over 40 local artists, collectors, crafters, and small businesses. But there’s more: a secret movie screening so secret that even the popcorn had to sign an NDA. You’ll get hints about the movie on social media, keeping you guessing just before the lights dim. The movie is handpicked specifically to entertain an audience, guaranteeing you won’t get the same experience watching it at home alone. Grab your friends, mark the first Wednesday of the month, and prepare for a night of weirdo art and cinema! There’s free parking and food onsite, and it’s BYOB. Southside Preservation Hall is asking for pay, but you can donate at the door for entry. Be sure to bring cash to support the local vendors as well. We’ll also have movie theater concessions and exclusive T-shirts for sale in the ballroom. THIS EVENT IS BYOB FOOD – Come hungry! Food vendors and a concession stand will be on site. PARKING – All parking is free. Once the lot on Maddox is full, please find street parking. CASH – Please bring cash for food trucks, popcorn, candy, art, RAFFLE PRIZES, and donations. ADMISSION – The Southside Preservation Hall is requesting “pay what you can” donations for entry into the movie. All door donations go directly to the Southside Preservation Hall, and their goal is to restore the building.
